The Tennessee Primary Care Association (TPCA) is seeking a Workforce Program Manager to lead initiatives that support and grow the workforce at Community Health Centers (CHCs) across the state.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build and strengthen relationships with CHCs to understand their workforce needs, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration
  • Develop partnerships with academic institutions and workforce development organizations to expand training opportunities and promote careers at community health centers.
  • Monitor and track workforce trends at the state and national level to identify challenges, inform CHC workforce strategies, and guide TPCA’s workforce initiatives.
  • Lead the development and delivery of workforce-related education, training, and resources tailored to the needs of CHCs.
  • Support CHCs in recruitment and retention, including participation in career fairs and implementing best practices.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for CHCs by promoting and helping them leverage federal and state workforce programs, such as loan repayment and scholarship opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant work experience.
  • At least three years of experience in a professional setting with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to evolving workforce needs.
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%, to CHCs and other relevant events and conferences.
  • Experience in workforce development or familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers is a plus.

Actual salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The posted salary range reflects a variety of experience levels beyond the minimum requirement.
